Maria Baranova is an acclaimed New York-based photographer known for her striking dance and theater imagery. With a solid foundation in Art Painting and Photography, she has captured the dynamic world of experimental performance since 2012. Her artistic practice spans analog portraits, still-life, and street photography, with a particular emphasis on darkroom printing.

Maria's impressive client list includes prominent institutions such as BAM, MoMA, Whitney Museum, The New York Times, and The Joyce Theater. She has also collaborated with renowned artists and companies like Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company, Faye Driscoll, Baryshnikov Arts Center, New York Live Arts, and The Wooster Group among others.
